Steve grew up in Southwestern Indiana, and except for seven years in the Air Force(3 1/2 in Southern Germany) still lives there today with his wife of forty years, Linda.
Carving since 1985, Steve has tried all types of carving. Relief is what he does best, having studied with such Carvers as Dave Bennett, Ian Norbury and Ivan Whillock. Ivan particularly has been an on-going help and inspiration.
Steve has won many awards and ribbons for his carvings, particularly his relief's. He gives seminars all over the tristate area and participates in various shows around Indiana, Ilinois and Ohio.
